On a gorgeously clear (but cold) friday night, the U12 Lynx kicked off their season away at Yangebup. While the result didn’t go our way, the team had some great hits, fielded with determination, and definitely displayed a tremendous amount of spirit which Willo is known for. I’m looking forward to the seeing the team progress through the season.
Willetton Passive Heat (22) def Willetton Pumas (20)
A very tight home derby to kick off the season 22-20 – Pumas started strong with the Heat fighting back to win. There were some exciting home runs, catches and a few double plays between new team mates which was a promising sign for the season ahead.

Willetton Tigers (12) lost to Willetton Jaguars (18)
The kids were excited to be back for another season of Tee-ball and started off at home with a Willetton derby. The game started off with lots of runs being scored by both teams and the result was decided by a three-out defensive effort by the Jaguars.
Highlights of the game included Aiden taking a great catch at 3rd to stop a well-hit line drive, Georgia’s tag outs at second, and Flynn’s big hitting.
The players of the game were Georgia (Jaguars) and Flynn (Tigers).
