About us

Our Team Spirit

Welcome to Willetton Tee-Ball!

Tee-ball is a team-based sport which is a modified version of baseball and softball, suitable for children aged 4-11 years.  It provides a fabulous introduction for children (and their families!) to diamond sports.

Willetton Tee-Ball is a community sporting organisation, run by a committee of volunteers within the larger Willetton Baseball Club.  We are dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for children to establish foundation sporting and social skills.

The Willetton Baseball Club is one of the largest Diamond Sports clubs within Western Australia and is known as a club where all of the family are welcome to play!

All activities organised by the Willetton Tee-Ball are intended to be played in the spirit of the philosopy of Tee-Ball –

The “FOUR F’s”
1. FUN
2. FAIR PLAY
3. FUNDAMENTAL SKILLS
4. FAMILY INVOLVEMENT

We look forward to your involvement in our club!

Our Home Field

Willetton Tee-ball teams play in an inter-club competition, with games played on either a Friday evening or Saturday morning (depending on age group).  Home games are played at Willetton Reserve on Apsley Road.  Away games may be played at the grounds of Yangebup Knights (Aubin Grove), Kardinya Red Sox (Kardinya) or Melville Mariners (Myaree).  See the FAQ page for more details.  Training sessions are held at our home ground on a weekday (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) afternoon or evening, as determined by our team Coaches.

Fixtures for the 2024-2025 season will be available here once they are released.
Please note there may be some changes to diamond allocations as the season progresses – please check the fixtures regularly to ensure you have the most up-to-date information!

The Fixtures page contains a map of each of the home grounds.

The Season

Tee-ball is a summer sport.  The season runs from October to March, with a break during the Christmas school holidays.  The TBAWA Tee-Ball State Championships are held each year at (venue TBA) on the WA Labour Day long weekend (March).  This is an opportunity for our players to represent the Club in games played against other Western Australian Tee-Ball Clubs.  Selection tryouts are held during the year.

Please note: dates may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control.

Each team requires parent volunteers to assist as Coaches, Managers, Umpires, Scorers and Canteen Helpers.  Coaching and Umpiring training courses will be held throughout the season (see calendar above), and the Club’s Committee are always available to assist the appointed volunteers.  Without volunteers, our Club cannot operate!
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
